Q: Am I the only Ford Fusion owner in the San Francisco Bay Area?
In the month and a week I've had my Fusion, I have not seen one other Fusion on the road. I've seen about a bizillion Camrys, but no Fusions.

Another reason might be the fact that a lot of wealthy people live in san fran and the rest of cali so that may be the reason for a camry over a fusion also camrys are definitely and more likeable car to the eye anyways. Gas thats a whole nother issue.

A: you can probably find them in the online yellow pages and they may list open call dates under some kind of event calendar on their website

Q: Ford Mustang convertible rental in the USA?
I am driving between Las Vegas and San Francisco as part of my honeymoon next year and would like to hire a Ford Mustang convertible to do the job. This would obviously mean picking up the car at one location and dropping it off at another. Can anyone recommend a car hire company which offers this service please? I don't think the usual car rental companies (Avis, Hertz, Budget, etc) have Ford Mustang convertibles.

A: Hertz usually has the best deals for one-way rentals. Hertz can also arrange for a Mustang convertible, but you may have to request one in advance AND confirm your request the day before you expect to collect the car.

A: The Bush administratration--and the right-wing generally--are starting to get their chains jerked.
This particualr issue is a good example: the bush administration--in violation of the law--unilatrally relaxed standards, allowing special interests to make more profits.
Its high time the laws started getting enforced--and that the courts tell the administration that they DO NOT have the authority to rewrite the laws Congress has passed, or the regulations issued under those laws. Not jsut about the environment--we're seeing the same thing in mine safety, cildren's toys, etc., etc, etc.. . . .
Q: Fitting a full-sized mattress into a Ford Escape?
A friend gave me a full-sized mattress, box spring and frame for free. I need to transport them from LA to San Francisco. Will all of that fit into the back of the Escape? If so, how? Any other solutions? I'm desperate!

A: Too dangerous to put on top your car (believe me I tried that one once). Go get a rental truck $19 a day and do it right.

Has anyone had any experience with them? Particularly the San Francisco based one, but any Ford modeling agency experience would be nice to hear.
A: Ford is one of the best respected agencies in the country. They have a very strong client list and are known as being very professional to deal with. They are very tough to get into as a model because so many people apply, so if you have been signed, you must have something special.
Don't expect any agency to start booking you on high paying jobs immediately. As a new face, you are competing against a whole roster of other models who are already known in the industry. Also, all your agency can do is listen to their clients' wishes. If they have 5 clients looking for green-eyed brunettes and you are a blue-eyed blonde, you won't get sent out on go-sees for these jobs. It doesn't mean the agency isn't working on your behalf, but that nobody is requesting your specific look at that time.

I'm thinking of towing a boat and trailer that was 1100 pounds, with a 1991 ford tauras. I'll be towing it 800 miles (down I5 from Seattle to San Francisco. There will be four passages in the car weighing around 720 pounds and around 250 pounds of luggage in the trunk. Will a ford Taurus with a 3.0 L Vulcan motor be able to handle this load?
A: No, you already have exceeded the max towing capacity by the amount of luggage to be loaded and the boat&trailer.
Find another way to tow the boat to the location you need to, or risk paying lots of money to get your transmission rebuilt or replaced.
