the drive is 391 miles. its a 5 hr 30 min drive. i have an 04 dodge neon with 12 gallon tank. i wanted to leave at 9 pm after work. should i take two 5 gallon tanks to fill up on the way? any suggestions on open gas stations along the way? or any help at all?

A: Almost the whole trip is on Interstate 10. You do not need to carry gas cans with you...very dangerous, and I think illegal too. There will be gas stations all along the interstate..always are. Stations on the interstate highways are always open 24 hrs a day.

Q: How do you stop a speeder in the neighborhood?
I have a problem with a moron who drives a lifted dodge ram pick up who has no respect for children. We live in a neighborhood in the outskirts of San Antonio and this red neck zooms through our neighborhood, probably going to the same house to buy drugs. I've called the sheriffs' but they didn't do anything. My husband wants to shoot this guy in the a** but I am too afraid since I stay at home taking care of our son. Any suggestions, or do I have to resort to tire slashing or rock throwing?

A: The following requires a video camera... Use a point of reference such as a house or sign. Videotape your husband driving your car at the legal speed limit from your point of reference to another point of reference. Make sure he travels at the same speed for the entire distance. Measure the distance physically. The next time the guy goes through speeding, videotape him. Using a stop-watch or even just a second hand on a wristwatch, you can verify on film that he is speeding. Proceed to your nearest law enforcement agency with proof that he is speeding. Take the information to the closest state police office as well. Remember to videotape him AND your husband from the same viewpoint (preferably from the safety of your home if possible, or from a vantage point that will not show who took the video (this requires sitting out for a spell). If he continues to do it, take a few more videos and hold up the same day's newspaper to show that it is taking place on different days to prove the repeated offenses.

Q: Would you recommend I drive my car with 207,000 miles from Kentucky to Texas?
I'm likely to take a trip from central Kentucky to San Antonio or Houston over the New Year season. No matter which city I choose, it will still be approximately 1200 miles each way, not counting the miles I drive once I'm at my destination. My car (Dodge) has 207,000 miles currently, and at the rate I drive it, it will probably have 220,000 miles by year's end. My car is in GREAT mechanical condition, I've taken very good care of it, and I have a great mechanic. Original engine, still gets good gas mileage, and thankfully the only thing unoriginal are the brake pads! I'm not your stereotypical "poor Kentuckian." In fact, I come from an upper middle-class home. I'm just really cheap! It's more economical just to take my car rather than rent one. What would you recommend, and why? Thanks!

Now to answer your question, as long as your antifreeze is good,fresh oil change,(with this heat we are in I recommend 10w40 for the trip) have your brake system flushed if ya have ABS brakes(water mixes well with brake fluid and with the heat it could cause a major failure of the system) trans fluid also changed and your r134 refrigerant is up to snuff for your air conditioner,tire at the proper inflation, you should have no problems going down to the state of TEXAS(also a great state)American cars with fuel inj. can go up to 700,000 mi with no engine failure

Q: Can I get out of a parking ticket from a private lot if they wrote down wrong make/model but plate# is right.?
I parked in a private parking lot (central parking system) down town San Antonio and did not pay the fee, when I returned to my vehicle I had a ticket waiting for me for a black DODGE truck, but i have a black NISSAN truck. The parking person wrote down the right liscence plate number thought. Can I get out of it?

I'm looking for a car for work. My credit is less than perfect and I don't have much of a history yet anyway (i'm only 20). The big dealers here in San Antonio, TX (CarMax, Ancira, Freedom Chevrolet) won't finance me through an outside bank. I applied and got a response saying I have insuficcient credit history and to few open accounts. Anyway, there is a place called Max Auto Sales that will help me get a car (a new car). They are a "Buy here, Pay here" dealer. They have been around since 1976 and have a perfect record with the BBB and the State of Texas. Their customer satisfaction has always been rated highly. Anyway, they're offering me a 2008 Dodge Caliber with 23,000 miles on it at 310 a month for 48 months at 11% interest. The car was checked with Carfax and comes out clean. My brother has a car from them and he's happy with it. He's had it for 2 years now. No problems. Should I go for it? The Caliber isn't a plain stripped down model.

A: It sounds as if you are going in with your eyes open. You have done your research and seem to be comfortable with the company you propose to do business with. The concern for me is that you mention a payment and interest rate...not the price of the car. Though 11% seems a little high to me, it may be the only financing option you have available. That is understandable, but the "deal" they are offering you does not seem to give you any room to negotiate on the price of the car which would be typical in almost any purchase situation with a dealer. Is the car worth the $11,999 asking price? Before you jump in feet first consider that you will be paying almost 15k over the next four years, and that the chance of having significant equity remaining in the vehicle is probably not too good. If you do decide that it is what you have to do, good luck and enjoy.

A: Damn another nice story line..... Bret would walk out to the ring with McMahon and McMahon would say I want The Rock to come out to the ring. The Rock's music come on and he comes out. McMahon says join our alliance, then McMahon puts out his hand to shake The Rock's hand. The Rock puts out his hand and shakes McMahon's hand then when McMahon is about to let go the Rock gives a Rock Bottom to McMahon, then goes for Hart and gives him a DDT. Taker would be out so the next match would be The Rock vs HHH vs Bret Hart. But the people are confused because The Rock helped HHH get the win and Hart and HHH are in a stable so the crowd wants to see whos side HHH is on.
