I have shares in Pepsico, Exxon Mobil, Lockheed Martin, Toyota Motor Corp, and General Electric. I purchased all of these shares direct from the company using the sites mentioned above. Is it smart to buy stocks direct or should I use an online broker? Buying direct saves on fees, but I have noticed it can take up to 10 business days for these to post on my account. Would it help me in the long run to use a broker.

A: a broker is sort of better but with my recent burns with stops and limits, I will NOT recommend a broker at this time.

A: firs tof all leasing is the dumbest thing you can do to a car! ( especially a compact one!) people dont realize when you lease your paying all this money and your never gonna get that money back...like renting! do me a favor and look for a better compact or midsize and buy it!!!! no more leasing!

She called a place near her job and he said she may need new brakes, but was unable to give her even a ball park figure. What do you think the cost might be? Should she look elsewhere if he can't even provide a ballpark estimate?

A: well most brake jobs run about 100 for each end really anyoner can replace pads for about 25 bucks my wife does her own at home.. but most likely you have more problem that bad pads and really jack it up and remove wheel you can check the pad not hard you can even find how to do it youtube or howto .com and hard to say what migth be wrong beside pads being bad til one looks at it but for just a brake job you can call three places and ask

I'm a junior in high school and I am looking forward to buy a car. I think I might move to New York to go to NYU, but since I have not gotten accepted, I do not know for sure. A: The Camry is a more intelleginet purchase for a couple reasons. -It's a Toyota, they're very reliable. -Not a convertible, Think about how much colder it will be if you don't have a lot of roof. -Chrysler is known for terrible transmissions. -Look at the amount of recalls for the Sebring and Camry. The Sebring has a laundry list, the Camry has one.

A: Nissan, Toyota and Honda are all good brands so a "cheap price" will not come easy. You will have to look: * for people moving away from New York and can't take their car * banks offering the cars from a repossession (that's how I got mine) * someone willing to sell to pay their bills. If do not know a lot about cars, take someone with you or spend $100 at the mechanic to check it out so you don't have problems down the line. Here's a tip, the VIN are put on the parts when being install on the car at the factory. If the VIN is missing, the part(s) was changed and will be up to you to know if its was replaced as a mod or due to an accident. Good luck.

hi, i just bought a brand new 08 toyota yaris and i am paying cash for it. i have also bought insurance from geico, it's my first car so i dont really know how much the fees and the details i need to pay. on the receipt, there's a $45 dealer's fee, $10 nys insp fee, $12.5 nys tire disposal fee, which i already paid, the dealer told me that since i need a new plate, there will be extra charges on the plate and they did not tell me how much, my question is, if i want to get this car on the road legally, what else do i need to do/pay after i get my licence plate, and how much will the plate likely to cost? Please advise i haev already paid for the tax, what is registeration fee though, is that different from the plate fee?

A: You can pull a 18 wheeler trailer with a 5th wheel attachment....we used to do this to deliver cars across country. It was a chop shop operation but i am outta the joint now and selling matchbox cars and assbleaching kits on Ebay.I found Jesus in prison and he is spanish and living with me now.

The German navigation DVD does not work in a US Prius, per another owner in the military that is in Germany. Unfortunately, I do not remember what user group I saw that owner on, so you'll have to ask around to find him. Also be aware that some parts on the US Prius are not available on the European Prius (like the CHHS (Coolant Heat Storage System) and the bladder fuel tank), so if you have problems out there you may not be able to get parts. AFAIK the warranty on a US Prius is only good in the US and Canada. But you'd be best to contact Toyota corporate in both US and Germany to be sure.
