Q: How do I cheaply get rid of a broken Honda scooter in Los Angeles?
It has a broken chain drive and has sat unused for two years. I'm moving and want to get rid of it and get it out of my name with the DMV.
A: Try freecycle.org, they'll have a yahoo group in your area. Just Post a note saying you want to get rid of it, and someone will come pick it up and take it off your hands. If you have a title for it, just sign it over to that person.

Q: Which is better: Staples Center in Los Angeles (LA) or Honda Center (formerly Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim)?
Which stadium do you think is better between these two: the Staples Center in Los Angeles or the Honda Center in Anaheim? Which is bigger, cleaner, has a better atmosphere, and is generally more enjoyable to watch a game in? Anything special about these arenas that sets them apart from others? It could be as simple as the glass walls of the Staples Center or the marble floors of the Honda Center; anything that makes them a bit different than each other and other arenas.
A: Had the chance to take in the Flames at both arenas this past season, and without a doubt the Honda Center is the superior building for hockey....mainly because that is what it was built for, hockey and not basketball.
For the game at the Staples center, the lower bowl seats I were in were so tightly squeezed in that you could barely get in and out even if the other people in the row stood up and moved over. The concourses were okay, but selling sushi at a hockey game??
At the Honda Center I was impressed by the different levels of concourses for each tier. The new giant screen at the one end of the arena showing stats added to the overall game enjoyment.
Personally, if I had a choice to watch a game, then it would be the Honda Center, the Saddledome (my home arena) followed by the Staples Center.

A: They have this really wonderful invention in Los Angeles. It's a great big book with pretty yellow colored pages and lots or really cool pictures and stuff. They even put in names and addresses of businesses like the ones you're asking about. They call it a Phone Book.

A: with honda after four years they dont keep them in stock,and unless you hit a wrecking yard they'll(aftermarket shops) will buy (order) them from a dealer and up the cost for this part,try Long Beach Honda or Norm Reeves honda,they both carry some parts for older models on hand,the rest of them will call these two places to order from,if they dont got it,if the two places I mentioned dont have em then it will have to be a special order part(takes about a week at most) but those two dealerships are the cheapest in prices

Q: I am coming to live in Los Angeles. I want to buy a Honda car. Does anybody know an honest car salesman ?
A: I have been living in Los Angeles for 6 years and I bought 4 Hondas Accord from 4 different dealerships. What I hated the most was that when I called to find out about the price they gave me one price and when I came to dealership they gave me higher. The only salesmen who did not change a price were Oren (310-925-9212) from Airport Marina Honda. But be carefully because when I scheduled with him appointment and showed up at the dealership the other salesman told me that he does not work there anymore. I called him and he was there. They lied to me. But he was great. Once he told me the price he did not change anything and he got a lot of knowledge regarding the cars. I wanted to buy Accord with navigation and he explained to me how it works. He was great!!!

I currently own a 1996 Honda Accord coupe, but I'm planning on having a vehicle that I can haul film gear in, in hopes that I can get equipment for my superiors on set. The concern I have is... well... I want a vehicle that will also allow me to get a date out in California... nobody want's to be taken to a nice restaurant in an old beat-up truck... unless it's something really old like one of those Land Rover Defenders from the late 1960s... the type you'd see on a safari...
