Q: Who is the best dealership in Houston to purchase a Toyota Celica from for someone with no credit?
I want to purchase a newer Toyota Celica from a dealer in Houston. Who would be the best dealership for no hassling and financing a person with no credit? I am a student working on getting credit but so far have found it difficult finding a way to buy my dream car. Thanks!
A: Fred Haas, either in Spring TX or On Hwy. 249, I'm not so sure about your credit or lack of , but they are pretty good people to work with ..
If not try a used car lot that's been in business for years, there are many, and must have a pretty good record to still be in business, I'm sure they would give you a good deal, and the credit or lack of would not be a problem . Everyone has to start somewhere

I'm gonna go to a Coldplay concert in Houston at the Toyota center. I'm not familiar with the area and need advice on what the best way would be for me to get from the downtown Greyhound station to the Toyota center. How would I get a taxi, how much would it cost? :-)

A: it all depends on how the venue will be set up. all concerts and shows are not going to be set up the same way. you would need to see the seating chart for that show. plus where you sit and how good it will be is determined by the person. some people prefer the nosebleeds because they dont like the noise. some have to be on the floor because they cant see otherwise.

A: The tundra garage ($10) or you can park for free on the street but you have to be at least 45 minutes early to the game.

A: Sit in the second level middle. You'll have the best view and still be close enough to the stage to get a great show.

Q: I need quickest way to Toyota Center in Houston, tx on Sunday,June 24?
Want to attend WWE show n College Station on June 23. Then atttend WWE Pay-Per View in Houston's Toyota Center on June 24. Would need to leave College Station early to get a good spot in line in front of Toyota Center. The only bus that day leaves at 5:25 pm and arrives at 7:45p. That's way too late. I would miss the first hour or so. Oh and already bought ppv ticket in February. NEED SOME HELP, PLEASE.
A: The quickest way from College Station to H-town would be air travel. If you purchase the tickets at least 21 days you can get a round trip ticket for around $100. You can catch an early morning flight and there is a bus that goes downtown. It's not the fastest but it will get you downtown. With the price of gas air travel isn't to bad. Hope this helps.

Service after the sale in particular. I purchased a 4 Runner from them and need to take in for service check. No major problems . Excellent vehicle.

OH WHAT A FEELING....
To be cheated, in my opinion, at Sterling McCall Toyota.
I went to buy my current Toyota Camry from Sterling McCall . I love Toyota products and as a matter of fact, I have a 1999, "4 Runner Limited" that I bought from Fred Haas Toyota and I have a 1995 Toyota Camry, V6 XLE for my son.
Being a satisfied customer with Toyota products, I decided to buy a 2002 Toyota Camry. Sterling McCall had the best-advertised price online, So I decided to make the deal there. After agreeing with the sales personnel on a final price of $18,897 price plus Tax, Title and License, I went to the finance department to finalize the deal.
Trying to be careful, I asked the finance person repeatedly " Am I getting the car for $18,897" and the answer was always yes. I signed the "CUSTOMER/TRUTH IN LENDING COPY" contract and took the car home, Happy to have another Toyota.
Two days ago I was looking at the "CUSTOMER/TRUTH IN LENDING COPY" to remind my self of my monthly note and I realized that price quoted on that copy less the sales tax was $19282. I thought we agreed on the $18,897 price.
An additional amount of $385 was added to the price. What happened?
Is it a mistake? Sterling McCall is the #1 Toyota dealer, Where customer satisfaction comes first.
I went to ask about the difference. I saw the finance person first and I asked to same question again " Did I get the car for $18,897 " The person
looked at the trusted computer and said, "YES".
The sales tax is 6.25% Time $18,897 Equal $1,181.07.
The total price should have been $20,078.07 by simply adding the sales tax to the price agreed on. So how come the price listed on the "CUSTOMER/TRUTH IN LENDING COPY" is $20,487.13.
Sterling McCall never showed me their invoice where they are charging me $385 DPA? They showed me the extra charge listed on their invoice when I went back to complain. The form was not signed or initialed by me. The managers would not make anything to correct the situation stating that they are not required to show this document to the customers and that the charge of $385 is on every invoice.
I don't know how they considered what they hid from me a "Truth in Lending"!!!!
Sterling McCall is going to lose much more than the $385 they overcharged me because lots of people are going to hear about it.
At the end what is Gulf States Toyota Inc is going to do to correct the problem?

Q: What restaurant would you recommend in Houston that is near the Toyota Center?
I am gonna be there next month..I am open to any suggestions...I will eat any cuisine, moderately priced.
A: How close to the Toyota center does it need to be? A very popular place is Kim Son. It is VERY close to the Toyota center. It is chinese/vietnamese. It has a great Dim Sum on Sunday until 3pm.
If you venture into downtown there is Treebears (Cajun/Creole Food). On Hwy 59 south, there are many restaurants. You need to eat at Houston's Restaurant (that's its name). It's a chain, but a NICE one. It's my fav restaurant, it's typical american food.
Another place is all the Pappas restaurants (http://www.pappas.com/).
On Kirby (only 5 minutes from the Toyota Center): Amazon Grill (S American), Azuma (Japanese), Pesce ($$ sea food), Ninfas (Mexican)...
A few other favorites: The Hobbit Cafe, Ziggy's healthy Grill, Mission Burrito, Irmas, Star Pizza, and the Chocolate Bar.
All of the above restaurants are no more than 5-10 minutes from the Toyota Center.
