Q: I've been contacted by FORD and Elite Model Manag. Chicago, Any advice as to which agency is better?
I sent in pictures to both Elite Model Management and FORD Modeling (Chicago) and have received phone calls from each agency asking for more photos and measurements, I'm just curious to see, if they do decide if they like me, which agency has a better rep?
A: Ford has been one of the top agencies for many many years. They have a reputation for taking care of their models and helping them with getting situated if they have to move from where they live now to work for them. However, they like other companies, expect you to take care of yourself and be as independent, resourceful, and responsible - an adult with a job, in other words, or if you are still a minor, to be taken care of by your parents. The modeling agency is not taking you to raise - only give you work, and you will only continue to work for them if you can keep your act together personally, career wise, financially, and health wise. There are too many good looking people out there these days willing to come to work on time, stay healthy and attractive, and take care of themselves emotionally, mentally and socially. The competition is rough and the hours can be grueling. Learn another trade to make a living while you get started, or be going to school to get your degree. Beauty does not last forever, an neither does a "certain look" that may be popular right now on the fashion scene. It may be gone tomorrow, and your job with it, so prepare yourself for all eventualities.

Q: Ford Center of Performing Arts in Chicago IL?
Has anyone ever been to the Ford Center of Performing Arts in Chicago IL. I am looking to get tickets to Wicked and don't know if the balcony would be bad seating or not.
A: I've been there before. I saw Wicked there in April of 2007. Center balcony is perhaps the best, and the front center of the first floor is second best (in my opinion).
So in other words-- the balcony would be a very good place to go, especially if it's in the center. If you're too far to the sides, you won't be able to see some dance sequences or clips of scenes.

A: You can get the best view if you lean against pillar post # 2.LoL.Do a search on ford theatre and they should have a seat diagram to pick your seat with.
Q: Restaurants by the Ford Oriental Theatre in Chicago?
I'm going to Chicago in a few weeks. What really good restaurants are around there that don't cost 50+ per entree and are a little less formal?
A: The Berghoff is no longer what it was. I think it is open only for drinks now. Mostly, it's become a catering service.
For restaurants within your price range, you might want to consider Ada's, which has a huge menu, as well as Miller's Pub and Ronnie's Steakhouse. Good food at all places, although the service at Ada's can be less than stellar.

A: Go to Edmund.com's forums....they have tons of people who share their purchasing experiences with other folks. It will give you a good idea as to how much you should be paying for.

A: You cannot. The Lobo is a Mexico item only. The ones in Texas are just F150s with Lobo logos puchased from dealers across the border. You can look up a Mexico Ford dealer on the 'net and get one too. Just put it on your truck and "POOF" you have a Lobo.

I recently purchased front row balcony seat tickets at this theater. Can anyone tell me if there is any obstruction of view from perhaps the railing or the lights that are hanging in front of it? Thanks.

A: This is a favorite perspective of mine for most performances. You are in the first row and high, plus you're on the aisle. You will be able to see all the action. You will want to sit there again.
