A: Put the same kind of motor that came out of it back in it, if you put another motor in it and pay someone else to do it.......you will be paying much much more than the car is worth in labor and parts.......Good luck
Q: My Dodge Intrepid is leaking Antifreeze and I dont have money to fix it. How can I find the leak?
What do I have to replace? It also is not starting. I think it is because Chicago has had below zero weather for the past two days. The headlights go on and so does the radio, so I don't think its the battery...
A: You likely have several problems. The antifreeze leak could be do to hoses or if there is no puddles on the ground it chould a blown headgasket. If this is the case, the engine will still start but it will run very badly for a short time then settle down as it warms up.
If you had mostly water in your cooling system it is possible a freeze plug is popped. These are installed to keep the engine block from cracking in extreme cold. Eitherway, someone should look at it.

A: the dodge has two occupants who were found with about 20 bags of cocaine, were stopped by police and then fled the scene. The officer did not pursue, but the dodge sped on and eventually rolled a few times and in the process lost its engine. Both suspects were apprehended and are in police custody. The other accident was a woman who missed her exit and over adjusted to get back onto the exit, she hit an eletrical box and later died at the hospital.

would it be cheaper to drive a a dodge charger from 906 miles away in chicago illinois to colorado then to fly it? and same goes with the rx-7 that is 853 miles away in california, i need help cause im looking to buy a car!
A: Yes, it would be much cheaper to fly to the destination and drive it back rather than having it shipped. My friends dad transports cars and he usually charges around a thousand dollars or more on average. You probably would have to fill the charger and the RX-7 up 3 times to get it back to where you live. Also, I wouldn't get the RX-7 because of how expensive it is to fix rotary engines and finding parts for those cars are hard and expensive. Flying to get the Charger and driving it back would be the best and cheapest way overall. Good luck.
Q: 94 dodge shadow turbo help?
i have a 94 dodge shadow 2.5L 4 cylinder engine. and i am looking to put a turbo on it and a friend said to look into a 2.2L engine of a shadow... is it possible to take the manifolds and turbo off the 2.2L and install it on a 2.5L.... if not what is a shop in the Chicago area that is capable of doing such an application?
A: That is a huge, custom project. It won't just bolt up, and even if it did, you would still need to run a oil line to the turbo to lubricate it. If you don't know how to do all of this custom work yourself, you afe looking at a minimum of $1,000 at a shop.

its really hard to strat my dodge i have to crank it forever to get it to start if it does. I know i have a bad oxygen sensor but im not sure which one i live in chicago so its very cold right now when the car does run it will idle okay but driving is a nightmare if you snap the throttle it will stall and after a little while of diving it just sputters and dies very frequently what could this be?

A: Year and model...engine size? Could be a plugged fuel filter, weak fuel pump or water in the gas....try adding some isopropyl alchohol in the tank (rubbing alchohol) to absorb any moisture. Parts stores carry it or drugstores too. Be sure it's iso alchohol and not methyl alchohol like HEAT product...doesn't work as good.
